Gone with the final flames of the sun was Earth. The once temperate Mars fared no better, as the once large gas giant Jupiter went supernova. With no place to go, and no permanent home, humans began to wander from planet to planet. However, with each new planet came new hardships, and new disappointment. The planets were never welcoming, and they felt that they had been forsaken. Now, with only a mere ten percent of their race surviving, they went into a cryogenic slumber. Submiting all of the last of their wit into this icy escape, they dreamt. They dreamt of a paradise, which they termed Arcadia. It was with this that they, in their bittersweet hope, hoped to escape from their own desolate reality.
Pluto was once the coldest planet in the solar system. However, with the explosion of the sun and Jupiter's catastrophic supernova, Pluto was thrown off of its normal gravitational axis. By chance, the Terran ship ATLAS was docked inside this planet, and as the planet was shot like a billiard ball through wormholes, so was this ship.
However, along with the warps came terrible consequences. It seemed that Terran bodies were not built for intergalactic shift, and thus began mutating. Although they themselves did not know it, they had begun to change. Inside of them was something dormant; a secret unknown to them. They had become tied to the planet somehow, sealing the last mysteries of the planet within themselves. With this change complete, the warps stopped, and the once Pluto, now drastically larger in size and dubbed Seiren, joined the Bellitos Galaxy.
It's been 5,000 Terran years since the humans re-set foot on the planet Pluto. The once icy landscape has become an aquatic haven, filled with treasure-seekers, researchers, and of course, pirates. The few islands that dot the planet are filled with corrupt governments, the floating citadels none the better. Streets are lined with cutthroats waiting to steal from the next innocent bystander, with each new island and citadel worse than the last. It seems humanity has lost sight of their dream. So now, with the open seas and the azure skies as your mate, how will you find your Arcadia?
