Okay, so this is where the classes will be defined. The reason I'm not putting it up in the Character forum is because I want you guys to read some of the things in this forum! RAWR.
~~~
The Pirates: Pirates are, in a sense, free spirits. They do what the heck they want to when they want to. With this class, you can loot what you want, go where you want, and pretty much do what you want. However, be advised that no matter where you go, you'll be chased by pretty much every other class. Not to mention, when you start with this class, you have to make a name for yourself.
Preferred Ship: Anything Fast
The Officials: Officials are the big guns in this game. You basically own your little plot of land, and can manage it any way you like. Feel free to be as corrupt as you want, or as good as you want. You can hire bounty hunters, or possibly even pirates to do your dirty work. This position has to be applied for, as officials have a lot more power than pirates do.
Preferred Ship: Heavy
The Freelancers: These guys are the bounty hunters. As a freelancer, your primary objective is to go and hunt down as many pirates as you can, thus making a name for yourself. Try to stay on the side of the law, because if you turn from it, you'll be no different from a pirate.
Preferred Ship: Light
Researchers: For all of you who don't like the whole thought of raiding, there's this class. Researchers can range from anything like anthropologists to weapons crafters. So long as you're there to help someone out in this world. Researchers usually don't have their own ships, but can create items. PM one of the officers to get the okay to create your item.
Preferred Ship: If any at all, medium
Entrepeneurs: Also known as the Rich Studs with No Guns. Actually, that's not true, because since they're the richest class in the game, they can buy anything they want. Stay on the side of law, or thwart it to become a pirate, it's all up to you. Entrepeneurs don't start with a ship, so they'll have to buy one or ask a researcher to craft them one.
