These are all generic items that you'd find on any sky/seafarer.
COM Watch: A small watch that works as a communication device. Set it to the right frequency and punch in the right 4 digit code, and you'll be able to chat with your friend in no time. The watch can also tell temperature, time, and is waterproof.
Life Beacon: When lost at sea, this little device will hone in to the nearest ship and contact it with an SOS signal. Useful when you've been shipwrecked in the middle of nowhere. This device can also be used as a small radio, and can be placed inside the COM Watch to make emergency broadcasts on a special channel. Waterproof, and can be found in any store.
USL: The Underwater Survival Light one of the only century old pieces of equipment that still lasts today. A miniaturized nuclear fission reactor combines with a power storage system to create both a lantern, light, and undersea pressure gauge in one handheld device.
Homing Compass: It looks like a regular compass...until it's turned on, of course. This solar-powered device is also a targeting device, complete with 10 small targeting darts and a 50 nautical mile radar with one click of a button. The battery holds for up to 96 hours, and can download into any ship radar to place the targeted objects on the ship's radar. Waterproof, and universal darts can be bought at any retail store.
